Join us as we hike to Mount Pleasant and enjoy the beautiful fall colors. This moderately difficult hike is 5.9 miles total with an elevation gain/loss of 1300 feet. T

Please support our fall trout stocking of the Trout Pond. We are asking the fishing community to come together to support this initiative.

Join us for this iconic hike to the most photographed spot on the Appalachian Trail!

Hike Scheduled: St Mary’s Falls in St. Mary’s Wilderness Area on Friday, August 15th. The hike is a wet one with multiple stream crossings. It’s a fun hike for the summer and there is a swimming hole by the falls. HIKE IS CURRENTLY FULL.

Join us for a hike through the Blue Ridge Tunnel on July 12th. Details enclosed.

Update for May 24, 2025– All catch restrictions on the Trout Pond have been removed until fall. Any type of bait is currently permitted and there is no limit on the number of fish that can be kept. Fishing on the pond is restricted to Wintergreen property owners and their guests; a WPOA fishing permit must be displayed, and a valid VA freshwater fishing license is required.

Trout Pond is stocked with Rainbow Trout in a cooperative program with the WSC and the Wintergreen Property Owners Association.  Thanks to the WSC volunteers for feeding the fish.
