The Shotgun Program

The shotgun program of the WSC’s shooting group shoots trap every Friday at the Rivanna Rifle and Pistol Club. They leave for RRPC at 9 am from the Stoney Creek Golf parking lot. They shoot year round, rain or shine (but not snow).

There are also often impromptu events including sporting clays at other ranges. Club newsletters will provide additional information. All members are welcomed.

To receive emails on events, sign up the club’s free email newsletters or email shotgun@wtgsportingclub.org and ask about the most recent plans. Members participating in a shotgun event must respond to the group leaders’ announcement emails.

New to the sport? Welcome! Come find out more about sporting clays. The group has both men and women with a wide range of experience. You'll fit right in.  (If you don’t have a gun, let the group leader know when you sign up).
