Trout Fishing Tournament- Saturday, April 30, 2022

Open to all Wintergreen property owners and their guests

The fees for the 2022 Spring Trout tournament
Children up to age 10 - $3,
Ages 11 to 16 - $5.,
Wintergreen Property Owners ages 17 and older - $10.
Any adult not a Wintergreen property owner - $20.

Saturday, April 30th. Registration at 2:30 PM, Fishing starts at 3 PM

Rain Date, Sunday, May 1st.

The entry fee for the tournament will allow you to keep all the trout you catch. The normal restrictions for the Trout Pond will be waived for the tournament only.

Any type of bait will be allowed. Anyone can fish and there will be no size or number limit on the fish caught.

This tournament is co-sponsored by the Wintergreen Property Owners Association and the Wintergreen Sporting Club. The fish stocked for this event are in the 14-to-20-inch range and may weigh up to 3 pounds.

Prizes will be awarded based on weight for each age group. The registration and payment of fees will begin at 2:30 PM. The tournament starts at 3 PM and ends promptly at 6 PM.

No assistance can be provided to any fisherperson unless you have registered and paid to participate in the tournament. Anyone can fish once the registration fees are paid and all fish caught are yours to keep.

Trout Pond can be accessed by walking down from the Monacan Lake Parking lot or by access on a footpath at the end of Sawmill Creek Drive. [map & details].
