Archery Season for 2021 ends

Mother Nature has reminded us that it's difficult to shoot well with numb fingers. The Wintergreen Sporting Club archery group has ended the 2021 archery season at the Jerry Rendich Archery Range at Rodes Farm and the Field Trail at the end of Old Stoney Creek Road. The Rodes Farm range remains open, of course, 24/7.

We began the season by replacing the target faces at Rodes Farm and later established John Morgan's Achievement Award Program, which has been a stupendous success. And, of course, our new video on the field range was something new and different.

Looking ahead to next year, we are planning to install new targets at Rodes Farm among other improvements.

Kudos to both all our regular archers and newcomers for their diligence and enthusiasm and to all who came for archery instruction. Thanks to John Morgan for the excellent and effective instructions.

We look forward to welcoming you back to the range next Spring.
