Time to Get Active Again!

I hope everyone has been enduring these past few months as well as possible. Now that things have begun to open up and the Governor will be moving us into phase 3 on July 1st, I wanted to give everyone an update relative to the Sporting Club activities.

The club has now given the nod to all the Group Leads to begin planning activities as they deem appropriate with common sense protocols to limit risk with regard to the Coronavirus. Each Group Lead can now engage in activities as they see fit in the format and timing of their choosing.

I know the Archery folks are ready to resume their regular sessions.

The Shooting Group is anxious to get back to the range now that it is now open for business.

The Fishing Group has not held a conclave this year but that possibility is now available with the outdoor access at local venues.

The Biking Group I’m sure will want to plan some rides – weather permitting.

In all, I think the club is ready to begin a careful and measured transition back to hosting events with reasonable COVID-19 safety precautions in mind. - Ron Coté, WSC President
