Join us on our hike to White Rock Falls Loop off the Blue Ridge Parkway. This beautiful hike nearby on the Blue Ridge Parkway is a great opportunity to enjoy our local nature.
Afterwards, join us for a picnic lunch at 12 Ridges Vineyard nearby. Bring your own picnic lunch or snacks (you can also buy charcuteries, cheeses and dips there)
Maximum Hikers: 15. Open to WSC members. Each member can bring a guest.

Meet: Blue Ridge Parkway White Rock Falls parking lot at 9:00 am on Saturday, May 9th. The trailhead is located at MP 18.5 on the Blue Ridge Parkway at the bottom of the hill. Heading south on the Parkway from Wintergreen, the parking lot will be on the right. Coordinates: 37.896, -79.045
Trail Description: This loop trail is a moderately strenuous 4.5-mile hike with about 850 feet of elevation gain and loss. The hike has scenic viewports and 30-foot cascading falls.
Difficulty: Moderately difficult. (850’ elevation gain and loss). Distance: 4.5 miles; Hike Duration: 2.5 – 3 hours
Bring: Daypacks, water (1 to 2 liters per person), and snacks. Hiking poles and insect repellent are recommended.
