Hike: This is a difficult hike. After the first 2 miles of a moderately difficult trail, there is a 35’ high rock scramble/ledge up the face of the mountain - this ledge features plenty of hand holds and some iron rungs. (see photo below). This hike is not for someone with a fear of heights. Note: hikers are always welcome to turn around if they decide not to do the scramble.

Distance: 5 miles Elevation gain: 1,300’

Bring: snacks, lunch (we will eat lunch on the trail), water (2 liters recommended). Recommended: hiking poles, bug spray and sun screen.
