The day before that 2021 Wintergreen Bass Tournament (Friday, October 18) on The Ponds of Wintergreen, Tim Wampler hooked this LMB on a Chartreuse Pepper, 6-inch lizard by Zoom using a rod and reel (Zebco 33) on a 10 to 14 lb test line. "He was a monster and a challenge to land," Tim reports.
This all-volunteer Wintergreen group is focused on biking, shooting, archery, hiking, boating, and fishing in and around Nelson County, Va.
Wintergreen Sporting Club membership ($25 a year per person) is limited to Wintergreen property owners and their adult family members. Memberships are also available for local residents not owning Wintergreen property if they are sponsored by a Wintergreen property-owning WSC member. Join here
