Mark your calendar for the 2021 Fall Bass Tournament on October 16th on The Ponds of Wintergreen.
All Wintergreen Sporting Club members as well as all Wintergreen property owners, and their relatives and guests, are welcome to participate in this fun tournament.
Free, just show up at Lake Monocan to register at 2 pm. Weigh in at 5 pm. Snacks and drinks will be available after the tournament ends. Come fishing or bring a chair and just hang out. (Social distancing and facemasks are required at check-in and registration.)

Format and Rules
for the 2021 Wintergreen Sporting Club Bass Fishing Tournament
• The 2021 Tournament will be held on Saturday, October 16.
• The Tournament Hours will be from 2:00 EDT to 5:00 EDT
• Only largemouth and smallmouth bass will be considered for the competition.
• All contestants will be required to check-in between 2:00 – 2:45 PM at the Lake Monocan parking area on Oct 16th.
• This is an individual tournament and each angler’s fish will be judged separately.
• Pictures of fish to be entered for judging are required – scale weights are strongly encouraged but not required.
• To maintain a “level” playing field only fishing from shore is allowed.
• You may fish any pond, lake, or stream on the Wintergreen property.
• Only artificial baits (any kind) are allowed. This means no worms, minnows, corn, Power Bait, or any similar soft or natural bait. Plastic or rubber worms are allowed
• Promptly reporting back to the Lake Monocan parking area at, or very soon after 5 pm would be appreciated – late entries may not be considered.
• Prizes will be awarded at 5:30 pm.
