Archery range report: Some repairs needed, but overall condition good
/ Guest UserWhen the weather got weirdly warm on February 20th, Mike Capps, David Proctor, and Charles Batchelor all had the same idea: Let's check out the field archery range for the upcoming season. A quick check on the range at Rodes Farm was also done.
Several of the backstops had come down, but repairs will be easy.
A bear, probably, had a good time with Lane 7's target.
On Lane 7, we'll need a new target thanks to the bear (or something).
Jerry Rendich came up with the system of cables in the trees that make up the field archery range.
Stoney Creek looks and sounds completely different in the winter.
Everything remains in good shape, except the sun has faded the targets, but...
...all we need to do is flip them around. The targets at Rodes Farm are in good shape.
