The Shotgun Group

We will change the days we shoot at the Flying Rabbit to their regular operating hours due to changes in the owner's schedule.

After November 5, 2017 (the day Daylight Savings moves the clocks back) our regular shooting days will move to the second and fourth Fridays of the month (Flying Rabbit's winter schedule is Friday thru Sunday). The facility opens at 10:00 a.m., so we will meet in the parking lots as usual (detailed in our newsletter) at 9:00 a.m.

Next Spring this venue's hours will be Thursday thru Sunday, 10:00 a.m. To 5:00 p.m. We will then switch to second and fourth Thursdays. Sign up for our emails for more details. Questions? Email John Tani.

Our second ladies Day shoot for this year is tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, September 27th. An announcement will be made soon with details for those who wish to learn to shoot...costs, etc.

The Rifle and Pistol Group

The Rifle and Pistol Group has been going to the Rivanna Rifle and Pistol Club for several months on the second and fourth Mondays of the month. Starting on October 2 Rifle & Pistol regular shoots will switch to the first and third Mondays of the month. Watch your email for upcoming trips.

On Monday, September 25th we will be returning to the Hite Hollow facility (see photos below), managed by the USDA Forest Service, just southwest of Staunton.

This is an excellent outdoor facility. In the past we have had as many as a dozen shooters attend the event at Hite Hollow. We will stop in Staunton on the way home for lunch at The Depot Grille.
