The WSC's biking group's inaugural group ride took place on Rockfish River Road (Rt. 617) from about a half-mile east of Route 29 to Old Rockfish Post Office, and on toward Schuyler. [map]
The 14 riders enjoyed perfect summer weather (sunny, highs in the upper 70s). The lightly traveled paved road along Rockfish River offered gentle ups and downs among the wildflowers. At the old post office some riders continued on towards Schuyler while others pedaled back. Afterwards, the group headed to nearby Wood Ridge Farm Brewery.
