Fishing Report from George Toop

George Toop sent in these two photos and this report from his visit to the Wintergreen Trout Pond today:

Caught several trout this afternoon ranging from 12- to maybe 18-inches. They seem hungry as they chased black and gold buggers, yellow minnows and a small prince nymph. Always seemed to hit close to shore (10- to 15-feet). Also, the fish had a hard time surviving out ofwater more than a minute; I had to massage two in water to revive after they went belly-up.

There were others fishing the pond, George notes, and they were catching fish. And he says the WTG police did patrol by as advertised. See the details and rules on fishing the Trout Pond HERE.
