Fishing: Fly tying class starts in March

The Wintergreen Sporting Club will offer members it's third annual class in Fly-Tying, taught by Mike Fisher and Al Simpson.

Classes will be held at Tuckahoe Club House on Monday evenings from 7:15pm to 9pm, starting Monday March 14 and concluding Monday, April 18. There will be a one-time cost of $10 payable to Mike Fisher to cover the cost of fly-tying materials for the duration of the six-lesson course.

Participants will need to bring their own fly-tying tools. (See list here.) No previous experience in fly-tying is required.

As a rule, the class will tie two flies a night, and occasionally a third, time permitting.  A minimum of six students is required to hold the course and a maximum of 10 students will be allowed.
