Starting in the Lake Monocan parking area on Saturday afternoon, October 24. It’s free and there is no RSVP. Just show up.

Wintergreen’s annual Fall Bass fishing tournament is open to all Wintergreen property owners, and their visiting relatives or any weekend house guests as well as WSC members. Non-fishing friends and neighbors will be welcomed.

New category this year: Largest bass caught on a fly rod.

The rules are simple: artificial lures only, all fishing must be from shore (no kayaks or Jon boats). Contestants can fish any Stoney Creek pond. Bring your own scale or borrow one of ours, take a photo from your phone of your big catch, and you could be the big winner. Refreshments and prizes will be at 6 pm back at Lake Monocan. Social distancing and face masks will be required at check-in/registration.
